John Nasser, President and Founder of Holland Sound Recording Studio is dedicated to bringing to NEPA the best in recording and CD duplication. With the launch of over 10 successful business ventures in his career, John has laid claim to Northeast Pennsylvania's premiere recording studio for the past 25 years.

A native of Scranton, Pennsylvania, John attended Bishop Hannon High School and the University of Scranton and studied in Real Estate. His first entrepreneurial endeavor was the formation of Classic Car Limousine Service, which opened in 1983. The business offered classic and vintage limousines that addressed a niche market. Following that, his love of music gave way to the development of Holland Sound Recording Studio, host to hundreds of local and national artists. Not one to rest on his laurels, John opened Classic Image Photography Studio in downtown Scranton, which was in operation until the early 1990s. He then went on to found Electric Records, now a leader in the industry for compact disc duplication. He founded and managed North Scranton Market St. Tobacco, a company that specialized in fine imported cigars. He is also founder and president of World Canadian Music, BMI, a music publishing company in association with Broadcast Music Inc. John recently re-entered the limousine business, under the name Nasser Limousine Service LLC. The company offers a fleet of stretch and super stretch limos, as well as specialty cars. He also manages John Nasser Realty LLC, a property restoration company. John has recently acquired Best Rate Limousine Service and is also the Pres and CEO of  Conway Limousine . All three Limo companies are the area's leader in quality Limos at discount pricing. He has founded Pa Limos and the Wedding Chalet, advertising websites devoted to promoting premier wedding service companies in the NEPA area.

In between the founding and development of each of his businesses, John consistently made time to pursue his personal obsession with music. His main interests were always piano and vocals. In 1990, John worked at RCA and Columbia Studios in New York City under the direction of Gene Weiss, former head of Capital Records. It was at this time he released several of his own recordings, including his hit single Don't Walk, which he performed live on American Bandstand and Star Search. Other live performances included a stint on the Joe Franklin Show in New York and the singing of the National Anthem at the World Heavyweight Boxing Championship between Larry Holmes and Lucian Rodrigues. John also wrote the theme song for the Easter Seals Telethon, as well as other local and national radio and television jingles.

John's career in the music industry afforded him the opportunity to work with many national acts, including Digital Underground, Paula Abdul, REM, New Kids On The Block, Perry Como, The Beach Boys, the badlees, Neil Diamond, Barry Manilow, The Hooters, Dakota, Meatloaf, and Felix Cavaliere from the Young Rascals. One of his fondest memories was sitting down to lunch with Billy Joel and his manager Gene Weiss at Gallagher's Restaurant in New York City.

John's new album is currently being produced by Bret Alexander from the badlees, scheduled for release in the fall of 2008. His latest release, All That I Am, charted high on national radio and remained on the charts for several months. John enjoys recording with The Old Guys on the Block, a band formed years earlier with friends he grew up with. Their third CD will be released summer of 2008. John also keeps busy performing at local clubs and private events.

John is also a Licensed Pilot with the (FAA) Federal Aviation Administration and a graduate of the (PDIC) Professional Divers Instructors College.
